Cindy Black is a wildlife and portrait artist from the west coast of the United States who has been "animal crazy" all her life. She draws and paints out of sheer love for wildlife and nature. Most of the animals portrayed in Cindy's artwork have been rescued by humans, and as many as possible released back into the wild. Some unfortunately are unable to return to the wild due to the severity of their injuries or their complete dependence on humans for too many years of their lives. A part of the proceeds of Cindy's artwork sales goes to support various wildlife rescue groups in her area.
When not painting, Cindy enjoys building websites and is webmaster for several for-profit and non-profit websites. Her artistry, love of beauty, and love of nature are the hallmark of her websites. Webmaster work is fast becoming a full-time job for her on websites like Hidden Valley Hibiscus.
